Στο πλαίσιο των τακτικών ελέγχων που έγιναν από τον ΕΦΕΤ και την περιφερειακή διεύθυνση Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας και Θράκης, ζητήθηκε η άμεση απόσυρση του συνόλου των παρτίδων που αφορούν σε λευκό τυρί άλμης από αγελαδινό γάλα, με την εμπορική ονομασία «ΓΑΛΠΟ».
Το τυρί που ανακαλείται πωλείται σε πλαστικά κουτιά των 900 γραμμαρίων, 1 κιλού και 2 κιλών. Το τυρί παράγεται από την εταιρία ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ ΓΑΛΑΚΤΟΚΟΜΕΙΑ ΑΕ, 5ο χλμ. ΕΟ Τρικάλων – Πύλης και πωλείται στην Ελλάδα από την επιχείρηση ΛΙΝΤΛ ΕΛΛΑΣ & ΣΙΑ ΟΕ.
Ο ΕΦΕΤ, όπως ανακοίνωσε, αποφάσισε την ανάκληση λόγω πλήρους έλλειψης αναγραφής της χώρας προέλευσης του γάλακτος, όπως απαιτείται από το νόμο, για την αποφυγή παραπλάνησης των καταναλωτών.
Τα προϊόντα χαρακτηρίστηκαν μη κανονικά ως προς την επισήμανση και η απόσυρση έγινε για την αναγραφή από την παραγωγό εταιρεία της απαιτούμενης από τη νομοθεσία πληροφόρησης για τη χώρα προέλευσης του γάλακτος, σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία αγοράς – προμήθειας γάλακτος και παραγωγής τελικών προϊόντων, σημειώνει ο ΕΦΕΤ.
